As a Merchandising & Campaign Operations Senior Manager of LINE SHOPPING, you will be expected to develop online merchandising strategy and operation workflow, understand target user needs, manage merchandising team’s daily operations and ad hoc activities, and deep dive into performance and other data to drive onsite/own media performance and effective marketing activities.


As you will be part of the founding team, your primary goal is to develop merchandising strategy to attract online shoppers to LINE SHOPPING service, create uplift conversion, and increase returning traffic by managing LINE SHOPPING’s onsite media inventory (e.g., LINE SHOPPING Home Page, Event Page, and LINE Wallet Page). In this position, you will be encouraged to improve Merchandising team performance, lead Merchandisers to the same direction, give feedbacks from users’ behavioral data, and be flexible with social media marketing tools and media strategies.   • Plan online merchandising team strategy to achieve the target of GMV, DAU, CTR, Returning Traffic Users and other related key metrics
  • Proactively analyze performance, define areas of improvements, and initiate marketing activities for LINE SHOPPING onsite/own media channels (e.g., LINE SHOPPING Home Page, Event Page, and Wallet tab module)
  • Define target user needs by studying behavior from onsite performance and work closely with Campaign Planning team, Merchandisers, and Product Owner to serve user needs and increase click-through rate and conversion
  • Identify working process problems and develop operational process improvements while working closely with Product Owner and Engineering team to develop admin tools
  • Forecast resources of onsite media inventory following campaign schedule and workforce as well as manage merchandising team workload
  • Monitor Merchandisers during day-to-day operations and ad hoc activities, including allocating onsite media inventory, creating campaign landing page and product collection, dealing with artwork agencies, displaying banners and products, and supporting campaign operational tasks
  • Make sure that all landing pages are ready for launch and all materials are delivered and displayed at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities
  • Perform a key management role in the link between Merchandisers in the team and other team leads (e.g., Campaign Planning, Media, Content & SNS, Category Management, and Engineering team)
  • Create and present weekly/monthly reports to Marketing Team Lead
  • Assist Marketing Team Lead in setting business requirements and managing channel development projects



  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
  • 5+ years of work experience in Online Merchandising or Marketing Operations for an E-commerce platform
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in data and onsite performance analysis (able to query data)
  • Knowledge in Google Analytics, advertising funnels, and social media management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and future online shopping trends
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills with strong decision-making skill
  • Flexibility with full-time schedule, including shift assignments on weekends/evenings (according to campaign schedule)
  • Flexibility in working across marketing functions based on effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Ability to meet deadline, self-management skills, and the ability to handle tasks with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing customer and business needs
  • Positive attitude, pleasant and energetic personality, and service mindedness
  • Knowledge in SQL is a plus
  • Knowledge in graphic design programs and advertising bidding platforms is a plus
