Server-Side Developer - LINE Travel

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deliver core domain services for Travel in Taiwan market.
  • Integrate with third party parnters and interact with internal services to provide best user experience for our user.
  • Scrum development working style.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in backend domain like restful API design, database schema design.
  • Programming languages: Javascript/Typescript or Java/Kotlin, or other languages.
  • Web framework/server: Express/Node.js, Spring Boot/Tomcat.
  • Automation skills: unit tests, integration tests, and E2E tests.
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Drone, ArgoCD, Harbor
  • Distributed system: RDBS, NoSQL (Mongo), Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
  • Familiar with Git.
  • Fluent in English. Speaking in Japanese or Korean will be a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passionate at product development.
  • Interested in ATDD, TDD.
  • Experienced in Linux and bash script.​
  • SW design: Microservice, Clean Architecture, and other design patterns.
  • Cloud native application: container, orchestrator solutions like Docker, K8S.
  • Observability: log, metrics, tracing and monitoring.
