LINE is the largest platform for business to connect, engage, and transact with consumers. As a Merchant Partnerships Manager of LINE E-Commerce Team, you will be working to identify and work with partners to incubate independent SMEs and social sellers on how to efficiently use LINE’s e-commerce tool (LINE SHOPPING) and other LINE services as well as other common digital marketing tools to drive scalable and sustainable seller growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build partnerships to drive LINE SHOPPING seller penetration in the market; participate in negotiations and manage relationships from start to finish to create seller acquisition and incubation programs to engage the sellers on the opportunities of selling their products and services on LINE SHOPPING
  • Identify trends and opportunities; utilize an extensive network of relationships to develop strong seller education ecosystem that includes e-commerce/digital marketing gurus and agencies, government agencies, associations, and logistics service providers to drive scalable and sustainable seller growth
  • Work closely with partners to initiate go-to-market communication of the program while working with both internal and external parties to deliver the message to the market, aiming at acquiring and incubating new sellers; regularly review the performance of partners and identify key improvement areas
  • Engage with partners to understand their needs and continuously educate them on LINE and LINE SHOPPING product sets; consult and coach partners to grow and achieve improved results
  • Work closely with marketing, legal, procurement, others cross-functional teams, and other external partners to ensure the plans are well-executed and delivered within timeline
  • Report and monitor performance of each initiative in order to optimize the plan over time

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • 5+ years of working experience in Business Development, Partnerships, e-Commerce or a relate field
  • Strong business development and project management skills, along with excellent social skills in building win-win relationships with partners at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically and adeptness at making data-driven decisions
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skill
  • Proven ability to thrive in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong “CAN-DO” attitude, full passion for sales, result-oriented, and team player
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines and limited resources

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales or business development in the fields of e-commerce, online services, or digital marketing solutions
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce landscape and its ecosystem
