Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Head of Marketing & Communications (E-Commerce & New Business) will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing communications strategies to build brand awareness among target audiences and drive the growth and engagement of our e-commerce solutions along with related services and products on LINE. This role will oversee all digital marketing communications efforts, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall brand and business objectives to effectively contribute to the achievement of desired outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications strategy to support e-commerce solutions and related services on LINE
  • Leverage the unique features and user base of the LINE platform to drive engagement and sales
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions
  • Oversee content creation to ensure consistency in brand messaging and quality
  • Utilize LINE’s in-app features like LINE POINTS, stickers, and notifications for promotional activities
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels within the LINE ecosystem, including LINE Official Account, LINE Ads, and more
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies relevant to e-commerce
  • Monitor user behavior to refine marketing tactics as well as track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI for campaigns and business
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact and ROI
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment; set clear goals and performance expectations for the team
  • Work closely with other departments and business units to ensure cohesive marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed to enhance marketing initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10-15 years of experience in Marketing Communications development, Digital Marketing, or Brand Management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role and a track record of driving growth
  • Strong understanding of Mar-tech, digital marketing channels, content marketing, and the LINE ecosystem is a plus.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for target audiences within deadlines
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing and communications plans that align with business objectives
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders
