As a Category Management Team Lead of LINE E-Commerce Team, you will be working to manage and lead your team to grow your assigned category. You should be able to identify the latest social shopping trends, establish your team’s strategies and plan the action to drive sales of your seller’s portfolio, while utilizing your expertise and network to partner with high impact partners. We look to create new ideas for the market, so creativity and flexibility will be an important part of your skillset, using both tools given to you by our platform and out-of-the-box thinking of new activities not limited to just sitting at your desk.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team to drive sales for your assigned category by identifying category expansion opportunities in social commerce, managing seller’s portfolio and driving the category promotional strategy in alignment with marketing and merchandising teams
  • Leverage competitive research and analyze consumer behavioral characteristics, trends, and other relevant data to optimize product assortment within an assigned category
  • Develop both tried-and-tested and out-of-the-box key account acquisition methods to align with sales campaign planning and marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue, not being limited to just sitting at your desk
  • Create a promotion and negotiate a special deal with sellers to ensure sales-boosting goals are met and pricing is competitive in the market
  • Manage your seller’s portfolio on your assigned category in order to grow and meet sales targets as well as helping sellers grow independently by using social commerce tools
  • Evaluate efficiency of business procedures according to organizational OKRs and come up with ways to further improve efficiency
  • Develop your team’s capabilities and coach your members to be self-driven and successful
  • Partner with key partners to create synergy and differentiated win-win experience for sellers and buyers

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of work experience in any related fields, with direct experience in category management in e-commerce and/or social commerce
  • Proven experience managing multiple functions and stakeholders across diverse business areas at scale
  • Deep knowledge and passion for e-commerce industries and/or social commerce
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with proven analytical and structured thinking skills
  • Strong experience in leadership, team management, recruiting, and networking, as well as excellent communication skills
