E-Commerce - Digital Marketing Manager / Senior Manager (Seller Acquisition)

Reporting to the E-Commerce Marketing Team Lead and the Head of E-Commerce, this position is responsible for working with the team lead to analyze performance, plan marketing and media strategies, optimize spending, manage daily operations of ads placement, and monitor media performance to acquire and retain sellers. For example, you may be expected to establish new creative activities, develop communication plans, operate related marketing activities, or push key initiatives from concept, feasibility to execution.

 

To be able to lead and initiate sellers’ mass acquisition and retention projects, you must clearly convey your strategies and concepts to Category Management and Marketing Operations teams, as well as external partners and stakeholders.

 

As you will be part of the founding team, your primary goal is to acquire and retain sellers by managing online advertising, improving both internal and external media usage, giving feedbacks from sellers’ behavioral data, and being flexible with social media marketing tools and media strategies. We are only interested in working with pioneers who want to make a difference and enjoy the challenge of launching, scaling, and analyzing new services at a nationwide scale.

 

Responsibilities               

  • Plan and executes all web, app, SEO/SEM, database marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Analyze marketing funnels, design communication strategies, and utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end experience across multiple channels and touch points
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess the performance against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spending and performance based on such insights
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop-off points as well as optimize funnels
  • Support strategic initiatives ideation through digital marketing and media planning
  • Work cross-functionally to develop communication plans and media schedules
  • Support media and display ads operation during campaign period by co-working with Marketing Campaign Planning and Category Management Team
  • Follow-up with artwork production and prepare materials for posting and rotating ads banners, broadcast messages, and other media display through internal and external media
  • Monitor and help manage sellers’ feedback and interaction across media channels
  • Perform quality control of all contents related to campaign activities, which will be launched in every media channel
  • Work across the team and collaborate with agencies to produce effective activities

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in Digital Marketing or Digital Advertising for e-commerce platforms
  • Experience in managing campaigns, digital media, project planning, and budgets
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing, advertising funnels, SEO/SEM, and social media management
  • Solid knowledge of application analytics tools (e.g., AppsFlyer)
  • Solid knowledge of performance marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Supermetrics)
  • High creativity along with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate the audience
  • Result-oriented mindset and a record of initiating projects and activities
  • Understanding of marketing funnels, analytics, and marketing strategies
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to create and lead creative and fast-moving projects
  • Flexibility in working across functions based on effectiveness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to meet deadline, self-management skills and ability to handle tasks with speed and accuracy
