Job Summary

LINE FRIENDS America is looking for a passionate Marketing Project Manager/Assistant Manager who will develop and drive offline marketing strategy and campaigns including events and partnership activation, to support the growth of LINE FRIENDS in the Americas. 


Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing projects from concept to completion for key initiatives in alignment with global and local standards 
  • Manage day-to-day campaign execution and operations; ensure project updates and status are shared with internal and external partners 
  • Craft and manage all integrated marketing communication for the assigned projects in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Manage marketing calendar and activation budgets 
  • Constantly communicate progress updates and troubleshoot potential issues 
  • Review, manage and contribute to marketing content distribution such as press releases, website content, social media, etc., based on the brand communication guidelines
  • Analyze consumer, competitive and industry trends to understand the market landscape, and identify and develop new opportunities for the company and its IPs
  • Create reports/presentations that effectively communicate status and performance of partnerships to all levels of the organization
  • Perform other marketing & partnership-related duties as assigned



  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of professional marketing project management or event/campaign management experience
  • Experience in brand/retail/content/partnership marketing
  • Solid hands-on experience in offline campaign planning and execution
  • Experience in entertainment, advertising/event agency and/or character licensing industry is a plus
  • Fluency in Korean is preferred 
  • Strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and project management skills
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Highly proficient in MS Office programs 
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, "can-do" attitude
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
