Given this role as a part of a newly established team under e-commerce, you will be involved in setting up a new business that utilizes the peer-to-peer social networks within LINE to create new commerce experience for our users. Your tasks include developing and refining a business model, creating strategies, growing the market, and, lastly, obtaining users on board. Focusing on your role as a PMO & Strategy Manager for the team, you will be working closely with your lead to set out business strategies and model, identify key matrix for measurements (KPIs/OKRs), and execute the plans into solid outputs. You will also be working with cross-functional teams and external parties (business partners, 3rd party vendors, etc.). Certainly, we are looking for a person who will be devoted for the job, willing to push your limits, and always challenging the status quo in exchange for the satisfaction of creating something meaningful.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market studies to pinpoint and identify business categories within Thailand’s e-commerce landscape that would fit with new peer-to-peer business model
  • Create and align business plans for the new peer-to-peer business areas under LINE SHOPPING business to execute in the Thai market
  • Come up with strategies to approach and enter the market appropriately with given resources
  • Break down strategies into action plans, also to set out key milestones for the team to achieve
  • Evaluate performance and results frequently as input to craft the business in order to adapt with changes in the market and users’ behavior, and foresee upcoming trends that could impact the project
  • Lead and conduct user testing to obtain feedback on business ideas and usage of the system that supports the new business area
  • Work closely with all supporting functions (marketing, product, engineering, finance, etc.) to drive the project’s success
  • Manage key stakeholders internally (cross-functional teams) and externally (business partners or 3rd party outsourcing vendors)
  • Provide guidance to your subordinates to develop capabilities and skills needed for the job
  • ​Be open-minded with any tasks given from the team to drive satisfying outcomes

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or any related field
  • 5-8 years of work experience in PMO and strategy, business consulting, data mining, or any related experience in e-commerce/social commerce
  • Familiarity with developing business plans/strategies and adeptness with numbers to analyze data
  • Experience working across teams and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge and passion in e-commerce industries and/or social commerce
  • Fair understanding of technology and platforms to collaborate with developers
  • Strong understanding of social commerce, peer-to-peer business, and their differences vs. other types of commerce
