As an Online Merchandising & Channel Strategy Manager of LINE SHOPPING, you will be expected to analyze onsite/channel performance, conduct online merchandising and onsite/channel strategy to improve performance, plan media slots/inventory, manage content and product display schedule, initiate new project to drive performance of LINE SHOPPING Home Page, Wallet Tab, and own media channels.

 

As you will be part of the founding team, your primary goal is to develop onsite/channel strategy to attract online shoppers to the LINE SHOPPING service, create browsing behavior, and increase returning traffic by managing LINE SHOPPING’s onsite media inventory and working closely with Engineering team to develop onsite/channel, such as LINE SHOPPING Home Page, Event Pages, and LINE Wallet Page. In this position, you will be encouraged to improve onsite channel performance, give feedbacks from users’ behavioral data, and be flexible with social media marketing tools and media strategies. Responsibilities

  • Plan online merchandising and onsite/channel strategies to achieve the targets of GMV, DAU, MAU, CTR, Returning Traffic Users, and other related key metrics
  • Provide visualization of past performance and customer insights to address key strategies and push for further enhancements
  • Proactively analyze performance, define area of improvements in each funnel and customer segment, and initiate marketing activities for LINE SHOPPING onsite/own media channels, such as LINE SHOPPING Home Page, Event Pages, and Wallet tab module
  • Analyze past performance and customer behavioral data by using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, statistical analysis tools, and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio)
  • Define target user needs by studying behavior from onsite/channel performance and work closely with Merchandisers and Product Owners to serve user needs
  • Identify attractive contents, key trends, and stories to ensure that LINE SHOPPING Home Page, Wallet Tab, and all assigned areas are effectively merchandised
  • Work cross-functionally to develop campaign schedule and media display pipeline
  • Manage all assigned sections, ensuring that all products/contents/banners are displayed in the right way, making it easy for the customers to discover the products that they want
  • Report and monitor performance to optimize conversion by working closely with Strategic Planning, Campaign Planning, Creative Content, Media Operations, and Engineering team
  • Assist in defining working process problems and developing operation process improvements

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Communication, or a related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in Online Merchandising, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing Strategy, Data Analysis, and/or Digital Marketing for an e-commerce platform
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, coupled with proficiency in data and onsite performance analysis
  • Solid knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio, Supermetrics)
  • Knowledge in SQL (Database Queries)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing, advertising funnels, and online customer journey
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and future digital marketing, e-commerce, and Social Commerce trends
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers
  • Result-oriented attitude and a record of initiating projects and activities
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills with strong decision-making skill
  • Flexibility in working across marketing functions and quickly adapting to changes
  • Self-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle tasks with speed and accuracy
  • Positive attitude, pleasant and energetic personality, and service mindedness

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge in graphic design programs and advertising bidding platforms
  • Basic R and Python programing skills
