In LINE Taiwan engineering organization, developers and QA engineers work closely to meet the same goal. Developer is in charge of application development and QA engineer build testing automation flow and tools to ensure that they meet the needs of clients and other stakeholders related to a product. We are looking for the diligent talents who is a self-motivated learner and has passion in automation and software development. In order to reduce efforts of manual testing and maintain the high quality of our service, we take advantage of tools in building automation scripts to speed up and help manual testing. In addition, as an engineer, you are encouraged to continue learning and share what you've learned. 

 

Responsibilities

• Build test automation scripts to speed up the product regression
• Perform load test to guarantee the product capacity
• Build health check monitoring to ensure the product quality and reliability
• Maintain and improve CI/CD (Jenkins/K8S) frameworks
• Generate tools to facilitate the testing activities and resolve the testing limitations
• Identify quality issues and drive corrective actions to resolve them

 

Basic Qualifications

• CS/MIS or related BS graduate and related technical fields
• Experience in Unix/Linux systems and is familiar with Python, Javascript, shell scripts, or other major programming languages
• Strong logical thinking, aggressive, accountability, and passion for technology

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience of software quality assurance model or methodology, familiar with quality metrics
• Experience in testing and developing web frameworks
• Experience in CI/CD framework
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum development
• Concrete knowledge of computer networking, programming language, and the Internet
