Legal Staff
LINE is opening a full-time position in Legal Department, working alongside our global team to fulfill the needs of LINE Indonesia's Legal operations. This position will directly report to LINE Indonesia's management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all documents related to legal, compliance and government relations, including but not limited to licenses, corporate agreement, corporate reporting, memos, and policies.
- Prepare and review a variety of agreements, such as contracts with vendor, partners, and other third parties.
- Ensure that all business transactions have legal seal and signed agreement/contract.
- Identify any legal risks or potential harms for LINE Indonesia and provide recommendations to mitigate them to the Management.
- Provide a wide range of legal advice and support to various functions of the company.
- Collaborate closely with local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on legal and governance matters.
- Submit accurate and timely reports to the relevant authorities/stakeholders.
- Monitor and stay up-to-date with evolving regulations, particularly in the tech industry, ensuring all legal practices in the company align with all applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in legal practice, either in law firms and/or in-house legal departments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent command of both English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken
- Available to join immediately and follow hybrid working arrangement
