About the Job: Senior WEBTOON Producer
WEBTOON is opening a full-time position for an experienced content producer. This position will work with our Editorial team in Indonesia, while collaborating with our global counterpart in WEBTOON HQ based in Korea.
As the one and only dominant webcomic platform in Indonesia, we value our local creative ecosystem, and as a producer you will be in the center of this value creation. You will be involved in both creative and project managerial work, starting from creator finding, engaging, nurturing – to actual original title incubating, editorial production, and launching. Our editorial team constantly seeks for new projects and initiatives to produce trending local titles and to grow the IP’s business value through new collaboration ideas, audiovisual adaptation, and cross-border to global countries. Responsibilities
- Search and scout local talents from amateur to professional creators
- Review the early works of creators, offer creative feedbacks, set the direction, and make important decisions for Original content incubation
- Support multiple local creators at incubation stage with both creative and project managing aspects
- Act as a focal point to educate, support, and engage with local creators to not only skill up creator’s capability but also to nurture the local creator ecosystem itself
- Initiate and manage projects such as compilations, contests, content user studies and generate new initiatives for strengthening the local content pipeline
- Coordinate and communicate with artists, HQ, external partners in day to day platform operation and content creation
- Track and manage timeline, workflow, contracts, invoices for creators
- Deal with manual daily content registration and platform operation tasks
Basic Qualifications
- Strong affection towards WEBTOON, comics, animations, audiovisual series, pop culture, and other entertainment content in general
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or have 3+ years of experience in related field
- Good understanding of story development and knowledge of how to apply it to content creation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in team, within a tight deadline
- Native proficiency in Indonesian (including deep understanding in Indonesian proper written grammar) and professional proficiency in English
- Able to follow hybrid working arrangement
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background in art, design, film, animation, media creation, or communication
- Ability to communicate in Korean
