Responsibilities
- Strengthen partnerships with Thai government agencies, regulators, and relevant public institutions, positioning LINE as a trusted partner to the government
- Identify, design, and implement joint projects and initiatives with government agencies that support LINE’s business priorities and contribute to Thailand’s digital economy
- Act as the primary liaison for partnership discussions with government stakeholders; proactively manage and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships
- Advocate for and influence policy and law changes, and help shape the policymaking process through active engagement with government stakeholders, to drive regulatory reforms that enable innovation, fair competition, and the long-term growth of the digital economy
- Coordinate cross-functionally with relevant teams to ensure government partnership projects are aligned with LINE’s business goals
- Share potential opportunities for business collaboration with internal business teams; provide insights to support business development and new initiatives
- Coordinate with and provide timely reports to LINE Plus Global Risk Management team
- Represent LINE in high-level meetings, events, and forums with government and industry stakeholders
- Monitor and provide insights to anticipate policy and regulatory risks that could affect LINE’s business
- Support the wider Corporate Affairs team’s objectives and initiatives, including during times of crisis, by leveraging strong relationships with government partners to help address urgent issues and safeguard business continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Business, or related fields
- 5–8 years of experience in government affairs, public sector partnership management, corporate affairs, or related fields
- Demonstrated track record of building and managing strong partnerships and successful projects with Thai government agencies
- Good understanding of Thailand’s public sector priorities, regulatory frameworks, and policy-making process, especially in the digital economy and technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Thai and English, with ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
