Senior User Experience Researcher

LINE, with hundreds of millions of users, is one of the most influential communication and lifestyle platforms in Asia.
We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher who can drive product experience innovation and growth through deep insights and strategic thinking.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing research initiatives across multiple product lines, gaining a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations, and transforming research insights into concrete product directions and design decisions.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and business owner, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research methods to continuously enhance the overall product experience.

 

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct end-to-end UX research for digital products, including scoping,recruitment, execution, and analysis

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Business Owner to ensure research insights are integrated into product development.

• Select and apply appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative research methods (e.g.,usability testing, interviews, surveys, analytics).

• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate them to stakeholders in an understandable way.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research outcomes with business and user needs.

• Maintain knowledge of current UX research tools, trends, and best practices, and apply them when relevant.

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on UX research experience in digital product environments.

• Practical experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

• Ability to plan, execute, and report on research projects independently.

• Familiarity with modern UX Design tools (e.g.Figma) and data visualization tools(e.g., Tableau, Google Data Studio)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• English: Medium proficiency — able to communicate in meetings and write clear research reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
