LINE Taiwan is looking for legal counsel, as an in-house legal consultant, to support its operations in Taiwan as well as the global collaboration with its affiliates and partners.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to various internal departments and business teams, covering corporate law matters, digital platform–related issues, service advisory, and local legal research.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents, including commercial contracts (primarily in English), for LINE Taiwan and/or its affiliates, and provide practical legal recommendations that balance the company’s best interests with business needs.
  • Handle regulatory compliance matters, as well as government inquiries, audits, and investigations related to LINE Taiwan and/or its affiliates.
  • Provide legal support across a wide range of legal areas as required by business operations.
  • Support corporate governance matters as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in law, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Licensed attorney in Taiwan, the United States, or another jurisdiction.

 

Experiences

  • Minimum of 7 years of legal practice experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
  • Prior experience in AI, internet, software, or technology-related industries is strongly preferred.
