Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead
The Site Reliability Engineering team consists of hybrid systems and software engineers who are responsible for and take ownership of management of large scale infrastructure while improving reliability and automation. SREs are integrated within the Platform and Product Development team, and we're looking for engineers who want to be part of developing infrastructure software, maintaining it, and scaling it.
Your expertise in understanding the business requirements and translating them into technical solutions will be crucial in driving the development of the systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of the chosen tools and technologies. Your ability to think strategically and creatively will be key in designing a scalable and reliable architecture that meets the needs of the organization. Your leadership in this role will be instrumental in shaping the future of the system and ensuring its success in supporting the business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design the systems and processes that LINE engineers use to manage and deploy their software into the production
- Design the automation of the server provisioning process to reduce the labor of our engineers
- Bring a voice to the table and partner 100% with the rest of engineering teams, working together to come up with solutions that meet the needs of the business
- Minimize risks of reliability-related failure outcomes as pertaining to durability, availability, performance, and correctness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 10+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions, including 5+ years of experience managing high-performance teams
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and tracing systems to help teams quickly detect problems
- Fluency in both Thai and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skill in both languages
