Responsibilities

• Develop a scalable search platform to host various data and applications within the organization.
• Develop, deploy, and optimize ML models and pipelines for LINE TODAY applications.
• Identify opportunities to guide decision-making, taking strong ownership of the end-to-end analytics cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences.

 

Qualifications

Basic:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience in building search services using full-text search engines, with a focus on enhancing recall and precision.
• Proficiency in IR, NLP and ML.  Proficiency in ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience in model productionalization / MLOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings in simple terms.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Experience in building and optimizing search applications using embeddings and hybrid search techniques.
• Experience in building multimodal recommendation or search applications.
• Experience in big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Experience in developing Generative AI applications.
• Experience in Java or Kotlin is a plus 

 

Interview Process:

• Online Assessment
• The 1st round interview with hiring manager and HR. (On-line)
• The 2nd round interview with leaders within the department. (On-site)
• The final interview with head of the depatement. (On-site)
