Job Summary:
The Webtoon TW Marketing Team Lead is responsible for driving the growth and visibility of Webtoon's brand and content within the Taiwanese market.
This role will lead a team in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to boost user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of local market trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing strategies, particularly in content-driven industries such as webtoons, media, and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies tailored to the Taiwanese audience to drive Webtoon’s brand awareness, traffic growth, and subscription rates.
- Define and monitor key performance metrics, such as CRM growth, app traffic, revenue, conversion rate (CVR), and customer lifetime value, aligning with overall business goals.
- Partner with product and global marketing teams to adapt global initiatives for local market relevance.

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing specialists, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support team members’ professional growth and development.
- Manage workload distribution and prioritize marketing projects based on business impact.

Campaign Management
- Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, influencer partnerships, events, and content marketing.
- Drive CRM and engagement strategies to improve app usage and enhance user retention through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Utilize analytics and market research to make informed decisions and optimize ongoing campaigns.

Collaborations & Partnerships
- Identify and establish partnerships with relevant influencers, creators, and media outlets to enhance Webtoon’s reach and engagement in Taiwan.
- Work closely with the regional and global teams to align on content strategies and leverage cross-border opportunities for Taiwanese original works.
- Develop initiatives to support creators through advertising partnerships.

Budget Management
- Manage and optimize the local marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Provide regular budget updates and forecasts to the Country Manager and upper management.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, ideally within the media, entertainment, or digital content industry.
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership.

Skills
- Strong understanding of the Taiwanese digital landscape, consumer behavior, and marketing trends.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of marketing metrics and experience using analytics tools to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English or Korean.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in content marketing, community engagement, and big partnership experience.
- Familiarity with the webtoon industry and a passion for digital storytelling.
- Previous experience in cross-border marketing strategies and supporting IP growth in global markets.
