Procurement Manager
Position Description:
A procurement manager is responsible for providing procurement services and ensuring quality, compliance, speed and savings in procuring goods and services. This position is responsible for the analysis and preparation of contracts and working closely with upper management teams as well as outside vendors to meet purchase requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive strategies for certain categories, improve efficiency and simplify the procurement process.
2. Be business stakeholder's agile, trusted and creative business partner to make sustainable decisions and build engaging relationships.
3. Manage procurement contracts and ensure that all contracts are compliant with internal regulations.
4. Manage vendor performance and establish consistent collaboration, communication and issue resolution.
5. Execute and manage end to end procurement daily operations and ensure compliance with policy, guidelines and SOP.
6. Lead supplier performance review, and drive the improvement to ensure qualified services provided.
7. Lead supplier selections, price and contract negotiation, and new supplier registration processes.
8. Execute supplier risk mitigation, business continuity and develop strategy of replacement.
9. Support internal and external audit, summarizing responses, evidence and policies.
10. Handle multiple special projects at once and rank priority in a fast-paced environment.
11. Support team lead for decision making, insight analysis, and execution of ad hoc tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
1. 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
2. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
3. Proficiency in English, verbal and written.
4. Relevant and solid indirect procurement experience, background and knowledge is a plus.
5. ERP, MS Office tool and computer skills, Tableau is a plus.
6. Excellent leadership, stakeholder communication and teamwork skills.
7. Strong understanding of procurement practice, category knowledge, and market trend.
8. Significant experience in MNC environment, dealing with complicated policies and guidelines.
9. Ability to work independently and control tight schedule effectively.
