Team: Webtoon Content Management

As part of the Webtoon team at LINE Thailand, this role drives the creation and production of high-quality local webtoon titles. The Webtoon Producer plays a key role in identifying potential IPs, collaborating with creators, managing end-to-end production, and delivering titles that engage Thai readers and strengthen Webtoon’s creative ecosystem. The role also supports cross-functional initiatives that expand the business value of Webtoon IPs through partnerships and global collaboration.

Responsibilities

Produce & Launch New Webtoon Titles

• Produce and launch new webtoon titles to achieve content objectives
• Lead the full producing cycle from script adaptation to storyboarding and artwork development
• Match acquired source stories with suitable scriptwriters and artists
• Review creative work at each stage and provide clear, actionable feedback

Source Story Development & Strategy

• Build and execute source story acquisition strategies aligned with market trends
• Scout and maintain a sustainable pool of source stories (IPs) for long-term development

Production Schedule Management

• Manage production schedules to ensure stable and high-quality content output

Creator & Partner Management

• Develop and manage a strong network of creators across production stages
• Collaborate and communicate with internal teams, IP partners, studios, and HQ
• Address production challenges and ensure project timeline stability

Administration & Operational Management

• Handle administrative tasks including contracts, workflows, content registration, and invoices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in webtoon, comics, or content planning/production
• Understanding of entertainment content and pop culture trends
• Knowledge of story structure and adaptation techniques for webtoon formats
• Ability to lead creators and manage multiple production stages with competent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-changing production environment
• Strong interest and commitment for webtoons
• Collaborative team player with proactive mindset
• Native proficiency in Thai and professional proficiency in English
