The Strategy & Business Development Manager (LINE MINI App) plays a central role in accelerating the growth of the LINE MINI App ecosystem and driving LINE Thailand’s ambition to become Thailand’s leading digital life platform. This role shapes ecosystem expansion, identifies high-impact opportunities, and drives revenue innovation across key verticals. By combining market insight, data-driven strategies, and strong partner collaboration, this position enables daily user engagement and long-term sustainable growth for the MINI App platform.
Responsibilities
Ecosystem expansion strategy
- Executing strategies to scale MINI App supply into high-frequency online domains
- Identifying market trends that drive habitual usage
- Supporting initiatives that position MINI App as a core part of users’ daily digital journeys
Monetisation and business architecture
- Developing revenue models across transactions, advertising, and partner solutions
- Building business cases to onboard flagship partners
- Structuring user journeys that reduce friction and maximise conversion
Strategic partnerships and sales enablement
- Leading discussions and negotiations with key content partners and developers
- Acting as liaison between global technical teams and external stakeholders
- Designing success frameworks that help partners scale users within MINI App
Data-driven growth and product evolution
- Using MINI App Events data to understand user behaviour
- Designing retention loops to drive daily engagement
- Collaborating with Product teams to remove accessibility barriers and improve discovery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science
- 5–7 years of experience in business strategy, platform strategy, business development, or product growth in a tech-driven environment
- Proven experience scaling digital platforms or ecosystems
- Experience working with two-sided marketplaces or platform-based environments
- Knowledge of mobile app ecosystems, including native, web, and MINI App technologies
- Familiarity with API integrations and SDK-based solutions
- Understanding of Thailand’s O2O, social commerce, or mobile gaming landscape
- Awareness of global Super App models and mini-program ecosystems
- Proficiency in data analytics and deriving insights for growth strategy
- Strong collaboration, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills
- Growth mindset with a focus on problem-solving and outcome delivery
- Professional proficiency in Thai and English
