Team/Position Description

We are looking for a data-driven and tech-savvy Product Manager to lead the strategic planning, operations, and optimization of our Advertising and API Platform products—focusing primarily on LINE Official Account (OA), Display Ads, and API solutions.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will work closely with local cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Security, etc.) and collaborate deeply with internal Engineering/R&D teams and our Headquarters in Japan. Beyond core platform management, you will also have the exciting opportunity to drive AI-driven features and participate in internal operation optimization to continuously enhance platform efficiency and product value.

 

Responsibilities

  • Product Planning & Lifecycle Management:

    • Own the product roadmap and feature planning for the OA API platform, including OA Plus and Display Ads solutions.

    • Translate market trends, user insights, and business requirements into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and technical specifications.

  • Cross-Functional & Developer Collaboration:

    • Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and Engineering/R&D teams. Drive agile development processes, manage product backlogs, and coordinate with technical teams for smooth feature deployment and UAT.

  • Platform Optimization & Operation Excellence:

    • Monitor and analyze service data/stats to evaluate platform performance, optimize ad delivery logic, and implement continuous enhancement plans.

    • Review workflow bottlenecks and assist in planning internal operational tool upgrades to improve efficiency across teams.

  • Innovation & Advanced Tech Planning:

    • Explore and incorporate AI-driven solutions (e.g., smart targeting, automation features) into the product roadmap by collaborating with R&D teams.

  • HQ Synchronization & Knowledge Management:

    • Coordinate with Japan HQ to align global product strategies and manage local feature requirements.

    • Establish product knowledge bases and standard troubleshooting processes for internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in Internet Product Planning, Technical Product Management (TPM), or Digital Ad Technology.

    • Proven track record of collaborating with software engineers/R&D teams to deliver platform or API-based products.

  • Domain Expertise & Know-how:

    • Familiar with the LINE Ecosystem (LINE Official Accounts, Business solutions), online CRM systems, and digital advertising infrastructure (Display Ads, ad serving logic).

    • Good technical literacy in API integration (RESTful APIs, Webhooks) and data-driven analysis.

    • Experience or strong interest in AI/Machine Learning applications or internal workflow automation is a plus.

  • Soft Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent communication skills; ability to manage expectations from both business users and technical teams.

    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Language Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required for cross-border collaboration).

    • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a significant plus.
