Opportunities:

As a Business Development Manager / Associate Manager - Merchant Partnerships & Project Management, your primary goal is to achieve various business objectives and establish major relationships within assigned industries and territories across large enterprise merchants, acquiring banks, and system providers, driving market growth and innovation.

 

Responsibilities

• Target new enterprise and strategic business opportunities for LINE Pay across diverse industries
• Develop and sustain strong partnerships with our key merchants, bank partners, focusing on partners’ growth, operations, engagement, and satisfaction
• Analyze business performance, and unique market insights to enhance service and increase revenue
• Identify Payment market trends and develop service requirements with a good understanding of users’ and partners’ needs
• Execute effectively based on company metrics (targets, goals, and/or strategic objectives)
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple regions and teams, lead communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead projects from planning to execution, ensuring success through data-driven decision-making

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management.
• Preferably in payments, acquiring banks, merchant-related O2O platforms, or internet industries
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from start-to-finish with limited guidance
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside the company
• Strong analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Passionate about the internet, mobile payment, fintech, and LINE Pay is a plus
• Able to work flexibly and dynamically in a fast-paced working environment
• Excellent business presentation skills across all levels of management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
