Data Analyst (LINE GIFT)

Responsibilities
- Boost LINE GIFT service quality by leveraging exploratory and advanced data analysis
- Define and measure service metrics
- Identify micro conversions, and support or lead initiatives to maximize such micro conversions
- Support data-driven decisions with statistical hypothesis testing
- Visualize and simplify the data of LINE GIFT services
- Support or lead data-related projects involving marketing campaigns and product development
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 3+ years of experience in analytical roles
- Advanced SQL skills and comfort working with Hadoop Ecosystem
- Experience with common analysis tools - SQL, R, and Python (Hive or Spark is a plus.)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Experience analyzing large datasets
- A product mindset - ask and address the most important analytical questions with a view on enhancing the product’s impact
- Great communication skills, organization skills, as well as multitasking and teamwork ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in implementing a real-world Recommender or Ranking system
- Deep understanding of the business domain (e.g., e-commerce)
- Experience with A/B testing environment
- Experience in advertising technology
- Background in software engineering
