Join the LINE TODAY backend team as a Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in developing robust and scalable solutions for both the Taiwan and global markets. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in web server, application server, and platform development who thrive in an agile environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement LINE Today Content Portal features for Taiwan and global markets, utilizing the LINE platform and ecosystem.
• Design and build core components with a focus on system performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planners, frontend developers, and QA, within an agile development environment.

 

Basic Qualifications

• A passion for tackling complex challenges and the ability to devise effective solutions.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related fields, with extensive experience in Java, C/C++, or other languages.
• 3+ years of experience with the full lifecycle of project development, preferably in developing web applications.
• Proficiency in distributed system design, with a preference for experience in managing complex systems with various interconnected components, capable of handling high traffic volumes and ensuring seamless rollout.
• A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Spring Boot framework, SQL/NoSQL databases, web caching mechanisms, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Innovative thinking and ability to work in a data-driven environment, using analytics to guide development.
