About the Job: WEBTOON Localization Intern

As a member of Localization team, you will be taking a huge part in ensuring our service run smoothly through supporting projects related to content localization. If you are keen to details and skilled in Korean language, this position might be perfect for you!

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency in the use of language style, terminology, and writing format according to established guidelines
  • Provide suggestions for improvements and revisions to the script, including suggestions for rephrasing unclear or ambiguous sentences or paragraphs
  • Maintain compliance with the required writing style, both formal and informal, and the specific style guide
  • Work on the number of episodes as requested while maintaining the highest quality
  • Assist in freelance management and new title review.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong affection towards WEBTOON, social trends, and pop culture in general
  • Fresh graduate in Korean Studies/Indonesian Linguistic major
  • Excel in both Indonesian and Korean grammar as well as vocabulary usage
  • Basic skill in using Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in team
  • Available to join immediately in March 2025 and follow hybrid working arrangement.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Having experience as a Korean to Indonesian proofreader
  • Able to provide portfolio showcasing your experience in related project
