The LINE Taiwan developer team is in charge application development and operation, developer can approach a variety of new businesses in LINE and experience with system analysis, design, development and operation for a world-class service. Taiwan developer also has chances to work with platform team in Japan/Korea to create new features for local market or even create another global product. Responsibilities

  • User Focusing: You will play a key role in converting design and data into user-friendly products, collaborating closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers.
  • Duties: Allocate 80% of your time to main product development and 20% to side projects.
  • Best Practices: Always adhere to best practices and developer guidelines, continually seeking new ways to improve the product.
  • Web App Development: Primarily focus on web app development, but also possess skills in related areas such as DevOps, backend development, and UX. You may need to use our infrastructure to deploy web apps to production, implement web servers and storage solutions, and provide UX advice as needed.
  • Technology Trends: Stay updated on trending technologies and frameworks, including AI and blockchain.

 

Requirements

  • At least 3 years web development experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience in web performance tuning, SEO, logging, web security, accessibility, and test frameworks.
  • Browser Knowledge: Ability for deeply understand how browsers work at a fundamental level.
  • Project Management: Experience in tech project management.

 

Interview process:

  • The 1st interview: with hiring manager, senior engineers & HR.
  • The 2nd interview: with Lead of frontend team and HR.
