We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing & Communications to lead our teams within the Marketing & Communications Office at LINE Thailand. The successful candidate, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to enhance the company's brand presence and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing all aspects of marketing communications while ensuring brand consistency across all channels. To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in brand development and a strategic mindset to elevate the brand and achieve business objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust brand development strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency and relevance across all platforms
  • Lead initiatives to enhance brand health and equity, ensuring a strong and positive brand perception in the market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand strategy into product development, customer experience, and marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Lead and inspire the teams within the Marketing & Communications Office, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth and achieve departmental goals
  • Develop and implement overarching marketing and communication strategies, aligned with the brand’s and company's objectives and goals
  • Plan and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels to drive user engagement, acquisition, and retention
  • Strengthen brand awareness and perception among all stakeholders through strategic brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling
  • Develop a comprehensive communications strategy that resonates with our target audience and supports our brand narrative across all communication channels
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing and communication efforts to deliver a cohesive brand experience, including effective social listening to manage and mitigate reputational risks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including users, partners, and industry influencers
  • Monitor, track, and analyze the performance of marketing and communication initiatives, leveraging data and insights to drive continuous improvement and achieve better results
  • Provide consultancy to business units for achieving goals and KPIs
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company goals
  • Work closely with the Insights team to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and user insights for effective marketing and communication strategies and campaigns

 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, and/or Brand Management, with a track record of strategic leadership and delivering impactful results
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve excellence
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and public relations
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution, managing large-scale marketing projects from conception to completion
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance-tracking tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Crisis management experience and the ability to navigate sensitive issues with professionalism and integrity
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and pushing boundaries in marketing and communications
