E-Commerce Specialist (Los Angeles)

Job Summary

As the E-commerce Specialist, the position will oversee our online sales and presence, ensuring a seamless customer experience and driving growth through effective content strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and UX optimization. The position will leverage expertise in Shopify, project management, analytics, content design, and visual merchandising to enhance our online storefront and achieve our business objectives

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation and user-friendliness of our e-commerce website, including platforms such as Shopify
  • Aid in planning and implementing effective online marketing strategies (including email, SMS, loyalty program, and site updates) to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and increase sales.
  • Maintain the workflow of all projects incoming from HQ and US and lead e-commerce projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Collaborate closely with the E-commerce Analyst to develop and execute e-commerce strategies, aiming to enhance online transactions
  • Conduct regular QCs of website components like landing pages and product information, promptly reporting any issues for resolution
  • Assist in analyzing sales data to identify trends, optimize product offerings, and enhance overall customer satisfaction
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for website improvement and enhancement
  • Work with creative agency for site optimization and marketing, and be the project manager for all creatives
  • Support any ecommerce coordination (eg: SAP for product shipping, vendor and contract input, track status of contracts and payments, request payments, etc.)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, MD, production partners, CRM, and customer service, to align e-commerce strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

 

Education/Experience/Minimum Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

 

Experience

At least 3 years experience in e-commerce

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, particularly Excel, Shopify Plus and SAP. 

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

While performing duties, employees are occasionally required to bend, squat, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to thirty (30) pounds.   The employee works under typical office conditions, for a high-energy, fast paced organization.  Work in an environment where the noise level is usually quiet.
