LINE Thailand is committed to compliance with global security standards to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Our security engineering team oversees information security and privacy of our users and employees. We also work together with global security team in the preparation and enforcement of internal security policies as well as conducting security audit and security training to maintain the appropriate level of data governance throughout the company. In addition, our team oversees how user data is to be processed to ensure that our data management practice complies with security and data protection regulations and the company’s data protection policies.

 

Basic knowledge of information security management and security auditing is mandatory for this position. You are also expected to be capable of developing and maintaining information security compliance monitoring processes and operations and providing effective advice for related matters.

 

In this position, you will be cooperating with engineering, product planning, and other departments to work on security governance, compliance, and monitoring. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn how to provide reliable LINE services, apply security principles, and work together with global security team from various countries.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve information security audit processes across multiple systems, ensuring compliance with applicable security standards and internal security policies
  • Conduct internal security compliance monitoring and audit activities
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the company meets all security standards and compliance requirements
  • Produce detailed audit reports and executive summaries that clearly outline findings, risks, and recommended actions for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings, create remediation plans, and track the completion of corrective actions
  • Develop audit metrics and KPIs to continuously monitor and improve the security audit process and provide visibility to senior management on security risks
  • Provide security training to employees on information security matters
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders in the local office and overseas to handle security issues and incidents
  • Develop and improve local security policies and cooperate with global security team to ensure the company’s compliance with LINE’s security policies and standards

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
  • 3+ years of work experience in an information security role, including security audit, security policy development, data security, security education, or security risk assessment
  • Familiarity with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) or Privacy Information Management System and its practices
  • Ability to implement security monitoring process to align with global security standards and requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
  • Competence in conducting risk assessments and security audits in diverse IT environments
  • Basic understanding of modern IT and computer infrastructure
  • Team-orientated person who can communicate with teams from different countries and departments
  • Professional proficiency in both Thai and English

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Information security certificates, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor
  • Understanding of Thailand Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
  • Understanding of internet, instant messengers, web/mobile services, and encryption technology
  • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean language
