Business development team is in charge of developing business opportunities. The main goal is to generate more revenue for LINE Pay. BD team needs to continuously develop new merchants, and build long-term relationships with merchants. Merchant Service PM needs to always understand the market trends, and the needs from different type of merchant, in order to build up new business model and strategy plan to achieve revenue goal.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for LINE Pay device management, including product acquisition strategy and product management
  • Analyze business performance and develop the strategy plan for sales member to execute the service acquisition
  • Identify market trend and develop service requirement to fulfill both users and market's expectation/needs
  • Communicate and co-work constantly with HQ for service development queries by conference calls and emails.
  • Develop and execute merchant acquisition process for LINE Pay to achieve assigned KPI for merchant number and transaction volume
  • Communicate constantly with prospective merchants to speed up merchant expansion and understand merchant's expectations/needs
  • Responsible for merchant negotiation, including service fee, billing process, co-marketing execution etc.
  • Responsible for merchant maintenance, work process build up and management
  • Support the ad-hoc assigned project, lead communication and coordinate the requirements among the related parties.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in fintech industry, banks, or payment-related company
  • Understanding of financial industry, especially fintech and future development trends
  • Previous experience and/or strong interest in outbound sales and prospecting
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  • Innovative and passionate about the internet, mobile payment, financial technology and LINE Pay
  • Good working attitude and detail-oriented
  • Able to work in a flexible and dynamic manner under fast-changing working environment, especially the Company is rapidly growing
  • Confident in business presentations to audiences including seniors and cooperating partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
