Major Responsibilities

The Product Merchandising Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team by ensuring that products are effectively showcased and aligned with brand strategies. This position involves assisting in the planning and execution of merchandising initiatives, analyzing sales trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product visibility and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, proactive, and passionate about LINE FRIENDS IP.

  • Assist in the development and execution of merchandising strategies
  • Support inventory management, including tracking stock levels and assisting with replenishment
  • Manage purchase orders and SKU information
  • Track and monitor the shipment of products and samples
  • Assist in maintaining product master files, style map
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and displays
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences
  • Analyze sales data to provide insights and recommendations for product assortment
  • Assist in organizing product launches and seasonal promotions
  • Provide administrative support to the merchandising team as needed
  • Assist Product Merchandiser with day-to-day tasks
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Team Lead and/or CEO

 

Education/Experience/Minimum Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

 

Experience

Previous experience in merchandising or retail preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong Interest in K-POP

Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

While performing duties, employees are occasionally required to bend, squat, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to thirty (30) pounds.   The employee works under typical office conditions, for a high-energy, fast paced organization.  Work in an environment where the noise level is usually quiet.
